Polo in the Bay is a fresh, fast-paced format designed for spectators that requires ZERO polo knowledge to enjoy!
The event will feature some of NZ’s most talented players going head-to-head in their provincial colours. Our teams include Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Hawkes Bay – these guys and girls will put on a great show!
The event site is located on the outer-fields at Trustpower, Baypark.
The polo action ends at 5:30pm with the Awards Ceremony for our winning teams, however the bars and food trucks remain open until 7:00pm.

We’ve whipped up a little video of our event site, so you have an idea of the layout before you arrive.
There might be a few minor tweaks before event day, but this will give you an overview of parking locations, entrances and where each ticket type is located
Event Day Information
Below is some key info for each ticket type / space. Please take note of what you can and can’t bring with you into your hospitality area.
Polo Lawn
Enter through the Main Entrance
Food trucks are situated in the Polo Lawn, along with pop up bars and the main Polo Lawn Bar (cash & EFTPOS payments available)
Strictly no market umbrellas, chairs, back packs, food or beverages can be brought into the Polo Lawn
Blankets, or some kind of ground rug or mat, and personal rain umbrellas ARE PERMITTED in the Polo Lawn.
Polo Lounge and Private Marquee guests can also access the Polo Lawn
A toilet block is located in the Stadium, access is from the rear of the Polo Lawn

Polo Lounge
Enter Event Site through Main Entrance, then your Polo Lounge entrance is towards the end of the field (look for signage).
Market umbrellas, chairs, blankets, back packs, food or beverages ARE NOT PERMITTED into the Polo Lounge
Personal rain umbrellas ARE PERMITTED
Your complimentary beverage voucher will be provided on arrival at the Polo Lounge
Catering is provided from one central station inside the marquee
A toilet block is located in the Stadium, access is from the rear of the Polo Lawn

Private Marquees
You can enter through Main Entrance, or from the Private Marquee car park. The entrance to each Private Marquee is at the rear of the Marquee (look for your group name)
There is one central bar, open to all Private Marquee guests. Drinks can only be purchased from the bar, there is no service to your marquee.
A bar tab for the group can be arranged when you arrive – a credit card will be held at the bar to secure this
Market umbrellas, chairs, blankets, back packs, food or beverages ARE NOT PERMITTED in the Private Marquee precinct.
Personal rain umbrellas ARE PERMITTED
You are able to place company items in your marquee, however this must be arranged before event day, as an allocated time will be made available.
Portable toilets are provided in your precinct. A toilet block is also available, located in the Stadium, accessed from the Polo Lawn

Parking Areas
VIP Parking Area: this is the only area effected by heavy rainfall and is unfortunately now closed
Private Marquee Parking: for Private Marquee guests / ticket holders only
Trustpower Arena Parking: for ALL ticket holders and all other vehicles
A Taxi Zone will be adjacent to the Main Entrance, operating from 6:00-7:30pm
